Sailing Programs
The Mattapoisett Community Sailing Association Inc. offers a variety of sailing programs for children and adults including private lessons.
The William E. Mee Youth Summer Sailing Program
The William E. Mee Youth Summer Sailing Program is open to all students ages 6 to 10 for AM classes, and ages 11 to 15 for PM classes. Students ages 6 to 10 will be assigned to the morning classes . Students 11 – 15 will be assigned to PM classes.
Morning Programs
8:30 AM to 11:30 AM
Students are introduced to the basic sailing concepts while building their confidence on the water. They will be placed in groups based on their skill level. Games, crafts, and science will be incorporated into this program to ensure a fun learning environment. Extended care is available through MattRec.

Afternoon Programs
12:30 PM to 3:30 PM
The Afternoon Program is for our more experienced sailors who are looking to increase their boat knowledge and boat handling skills in a fun, relaxing environment. Students will be broken up by skill level. Sailors participating in this group will have the opportunity to sail in small groups, with an instructor, or alone accompanied by a safety boat.
Private Lessons
The Mattapoisett Community Sailing Association Inc. (MCSA) is accepting applications for participation in its Private Lesson Program. This Program is designed to teach basic sailing, nomenclature, and safety rules to beginner sailors with little or no sailing experience or for sailors who need to build confidence in their sailing ability.
