HEARTS ON THE HARBOR is our heartfelt February-long donation drive to support the William E. Mee Youth Sailing Program and Mattapoisett Community Sailing (MattSail). This month-long campaign celebrates the romance of Valentine’s season while honoring the timeless beauty of our local harbor—the sheltered, historic gem on Buzzards Bay where generations of Mattapoisett families have launched boats, built maritime heritage, and watched sunsets paint the water in gold and pink.
In this protected anchorage, with its active wharves, yachts bobbing gently, beautiful views and Ned’s Point Light, young sailors ages 6-15 learn to hoist sails, read the wind, and navigate life’s waves. But it takes a village to keep those dreams afloat—your support provides needed funding to provide essential gear, boat maintenance, operational costs, and safe, joyful experiences that build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong love of the water.
During Hearts on the Harbor (February 1–28), we’re rallying our Tri-Town community and beyond to reach a fundraising goal of $5000.
